Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation and Rejuvenation

This nourishing workshop blends the healing practices of Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra Meditation for deep relaxation and powerful transformation.  

We will begin by practicing simple breath techniques, gentle stretching and movement to prepare our bodies for this restorative experience.

Yoga Nidra, is a fully guided meditation also referred to as wakeful yogic sleep.

 It is a powerful practice that automatically induces a state of deep relaxation, providing stress relief on physical, mental and emotional levels.  It restores the body to wholeness while invoking a sense of deep peace and stillness.

   As you effortlessly enter these deeper levels of consciousness, you become a witness to all that is happening, while dis-identifying with your thoughts.  The more this is practiced, the less reactive you become to situations that arise.

   The meditation is typically done while lying down in a comfortable supported posture. The more our bodies relax our temperature cools down, therefore it is recommended to have an extra layer of clothing available to maximize comfort throughout the practice.

Please bring a pillow, blanket and water to replenish the body.

Come Join Lori Myrick RYT 200 and Certified Yoga Nidra Professional Facilitator as she safely guides you through this blissful experience.  No prior yoga experience is required, simply arrive with an open heart and mind.
