 This nourishing workshop blends the healing practices of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and powerful transformation. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which utilizes props to fully support the body for total renewal. These gentle reclined postures are held for longer periods of time to deeply relax the muscles, safely stretch tissue and fascia, creating more space for the joints to move freely.

Yoga Nidra, also referred to as wakeful Yogic Sleep is a powerful practice accessed through a guided meditation, which induces a state of deep relaxation, providing stress relief on physical, mental and emotional levels. This systematic process incorporates breath, body awareness and visualization, while taking you step by step into the deeper levels of consciousness. It is in these deepened states, where we can plant new seeds of intention at the core, where our bliss body stores memories, beliefs and habitual thought patterns. This tool brings profound healing on all levels, restoring the body to wholeness.

The meditation is typically done while lying down in a comfortable posture. As our bodies relax our temperature cools down, therefore it is recommended to have an extra layer of clothing available. Props may be limited, so please bring a pillow, blanket, eye covering and water to maximize comfort throughout both practices. If you wish to journal your experience, you may also bring paper and pen.
