Guided Meditation for Peace and Well-being.

As the year comes to a close, it is an opportune time to release all that no longer serves our higher self. Join me for a late afternoon experience of surrender, deep relaxation and restoration.

The class will begin with Gentle Yoga along with a burning bowl ceremony to set free old patterns and beliefs. We will end with a fully guided meditation known as Yoga Nidra, inducing a state of deep relaxation, quieting the mind, relieving stress and restoring inner peace.

Join Lori Myrick RYT 200 as she safely guides you through this experience. No prior yoga experience is necessary, simply arrive with an open heart and mind.

Please dress in layers, bring a pillow, extra blanket and water to replenish the body.

 Yoga at Middle River will teach you the asana (yoga poses) but essentially through your yoga practice we will guide you back home to yourself thru the asana using breath awareness and mindfulness. 

Yoga can be a spiritual practice for some, and for others its a mind body workout, for many its a connection to the inner self.  Open yourself up to something greater beyond the yoga poses then you will be doing yoga.

    Yoga asana will alleviate physical tension patterns and tone the muscle in the body.  A regular Yoga practice will restore physical mobility by relieving tension in the neck, back, shoulders, pelvis, lower back. Even the internal organs benefit from yoga.  These are common areas of the body we hold tension.

          * Parking... there are many options.  Municipal lot across the street and the town hall parking lot next to the big mill.
